The DIERS formetric 4D is the clinical reference for optical spine analysis. Video raster stereography projects a light grid on the patient's back and reconstructs a 3D model of the spine and pelvis — scoliosis angles, kyphosis, lordosis, vertebral rotation and pelvic obliquity — with zero radiation, in seconds, and in dynamic 4D mode even during motion.

Because there is no X-ray exposure, screening and frequent re-measurement become ethically and commercially viable: posture programs, orthopedic rehabilitation, scoliosis monitoring in children, and premium spine check-ups all build recurring visits around formetric data. Over 1,000 clinical installations and hundreds of publications back the method.
