The Abbott i-STAT 1 puts a hospital stat-lab in the palm of a hand. Two to three drops of blood on a single-use cartridge return lab-quality results in about two minutes: electrolytes, blood gases, glucose, lactate, creatinine, hematocrit and cardiac markers depending on cartridge selection.

For premium clinics and medical wellness programs in Indonesia, the i-STAT enables on-the-spot chemistry during a consultation — no courier to a reference lab, no second appointment. IV-therapy lounges use it for pre-infusion safety panels; retreat medical rooms keep it for rapid assessment.
